The Mountain Goat is a locally owned and run outfitter located just five minutes from the Appalachian Trail in southern Vermont. In 2012 we are celebrating our 25th year of offering the finest in outdoor clothing and gear for serious adventurers and casual wanderers alike. Finding Us: The Mountain Goat is located at the intersection of Rts. 11/30 and Route 7A North in Manchester Center, Vermont. We are diagonally across the intersection from the Northshire Bookstore.

"Sister" Stores: Although we are not directly affiliated with the other Mountain Goat locations (Hanover, NH, Williamstown, MA and Northampton, MA), we do share a love for the outdoors and the experience of years of expert outfitting with these "sister" stores. As we are separate stores, we are not able to accept returns of items purchased at other Mountain Goat locations. Please make all returns to the store where the product was originally purchased.
