The Goat Community
The Mountain Goat Community Partners:
Nadia Todres:
Nadia Todres a photographer from Readsboro, VT has been traveling to Haiti since shortly after the earthquake of January 2010. She works with various different NGO’s and is currently working on a long term story of adolescent girls in post-earthquake Haiti.
In addition to photographing, Nadia has been teaching photography to young girls in the camps for internally displaced people, throughout Port au Prince, as part of various creative arts projects.
On each of her trips The Mountain Goat has contributed items such as footwear, flashlights, water bottles, tents, sleeping bags and other much needed supplies for the people of Haiti. Nadia has delivered those items which have been received by people in Haiti and fully appreciated.
Nadia travels to Haiti every few months and donations of gently used worn weather footwear and clothing are always accepted. Donations can be made by using the Mountain Goat as a drop off location.
